"born 39 years ago in Copenhagen, I started in a very early age travelling around Scandinavia and Europe, with my Grandfather, who was a passionate angler and wildlife photographer. So began a passion for angling, wildlife and photography, which has taken me to far and away places around the world. My passions in the animal kingdom are insects, spiders and tropical fish of which I more than 15 years of experience in the care, keeping and photographing these special creatures. With my camera, knowledge and a desire to explore the remains of natures last wild places I have been lucky to get intimate with a macro world that is often ignored and misunderstood. This macro world, flowers, people, light and shadow form together the foundation of my photographic work."

1986-89 part time job at the "tropical house" in Copenhagen Zoological garden
1991 first semi professional SLR camera and the beginning of a life friendship
1992-93 depart on one of many future trips to Africa
1993-96 writes first articles in Demark and Europe about Sportfishing
begins writing danish poetry collection
takes University preparing degree in natural Science and Mathematics
declines Copenhagen University for the advantage of travel and photography
2004 discover in the jungle of Brazil new undescribed species of Tarantula spiders
